Barry Schweiber is the older sibling of Neal Schweiber and the eldest son of Mrs. Schweiber and Dr. Schweiber. He is in his sophomore year of college in Wisconsin. He is portrayed by David Krumholtz.
Biography[]
Barry appears in the fifteenth episode "Noshing and Moshing", in which he came back from Wisconsin, where he attends college, to visit his family in Michigan.
At William McKinley High School, Barry bravely stands up for the Geeks against their bullies by taunting them, even if he admits that he was bullied before when he was younger as a geek himself in high school. Furthermore, Barry attends Dr. Schweiber's party, alongside his father, mother, younger brother and his geeky friends, Lindsay, her parents, and other invited guests. Being notified by Neal that he saw their father cheating on their mother with someone else, Barry tells his younger brother that he is aware of the affair, and he is cheering him up about it in his bedroom alone with him.
Outside of Dr. Schweiber's party, similar to his younger brother, Barry confesses to Lindsay that he has a crush on her for a long time, and he kisses her during the event.
