Karen Scarfolli is the former best friend of Kim Kelly, and a former member of the Freaks. Karen first appears in the first episode "Pilot", in which she was played by Stacy Hogue.
Biography[]
In the episode "Kim Kelly Is My Friend", like Alan White, Karen is a bully to Sam Weir by smearing his locker (being coincidentally next to her locker) with the word "Geek" on it, causing him to get in trouble. Sam is forced to write an essay by his teacher to explain why vandalism is bad, and it is due within a day.
Later, Karen turns against Kim when she allowed Daniel, Kim's on/off boyfriend, to stick his left thumb inside of her mouth, while they were both stoned. In anger, Kim almost run over Karen with her car before leaving the scene, confusing Karen and the other Freaks.
As bad karma for Karen, Karen's school locker is smeared with the word "Slut" on it. Although, Karen accuses Sam of doing that, but he claims that he didn't. It was revealed to be Kim, who smeared Karen's locker, as revenge for attempting to steal her boyfriend away from her, as well as her standing up for Sam against Karen. Karen is intimidated by Kim as she walks away from her in disgust, no longer friends with Kim and even no longer part of the Freaks. Hilariously, after Sam gives his essay to his teacher, Sam's teacher sees another vandalized locker and he wraps Sam's essay in a ball-like shape, tossing it behind him and stating that he doesn't care about students damaging property of others anymore.
