Freaks and Geeks is an American teen comedy-drama TV series with one season that was broadcasted from 1999-to-2000 on NBC. Due to low viewership and creative differences between show-runners and the network, the show was canceled after only 12 episodes had aired, although six more episodes that had already been produced, were aired later.

In the 2000s, the TV series achieved cult status, and it was repeatedly ranked among the best TV shows.

  1. Busy Philipps is not credited in the opening credits themselves, but immediately after them by "Also starring". She appears in all 18 episodes, and she is also present on all of the promotional group pictures of the Freaks.
  2. The credits do not make a difference between recurring cast and guest stars. The cast members indicated in the scenes, following the opening credits, are generally credited as "guest stars", and those in the end credits as "co-starring", not depending on the number of episodes in which they appear.
